Hello World

Since I am an engineer, I am writing this post to test my system as well as introducing what this is about.

Since I am an engineer, I am writing this post to test my system as well as introducing what this is about.

Introduction

From my professional experience of last 8 years, I have made mistakes, I have learned, I have fallen, I have stood up, I have unlearned and have made good decisions. And I expect this will never stop until I flatline. Everything that worked for me, of course, stayed with me. Everything that didn't, made me a better version of myself.

I am planning to extract those learnings into codes (the engineer in me is smiling), rules, policies, pathways that will be guiding-light or a north-star, if you will.

Why

You could ask why, I have asked it to myself as well. I believe why is ver dangerous yet powerful question you can ask. If done recursively i.e. asking why again to the answer of a why just answered, will navigate to as close to "the truth" as possible.1

I hope to see the learnings to present in a way and it might help someone along the way and since this will public to learn from others and as well. Do I see a path forward right now? Absolutely not! But I intend to complete this journey.

Scope

You should not expect anything substantial as of today. I have not yet figured out a plan, a format, a schedule, or even what I will be posting.

Rule # 00000001

BTW that's a byte. First rule I intend to enforce is "No AI". No AI to write, improve, fix typos or rephrase the contents of any of the future posts in any way. Exception being AI will be used to research. This rule was enforced while writing this post.

But Why

Because I want to stay sane. Because I don't want to find myself in a position where I am searching "how to get out of wet pants in the middle of an embarrassing washroom accident. make no mistakes". Simply put, I intend to remain a functional human being.

Final Thoughts

Dunno! k, bye. see ya. ttyl. WAILB. AARKG

Footnotes

  1. This piece of gold is one of the teaching of Prof. Dr. Syed Waqar ul Qounain Jaffry, I have long admired him and probably the most among the living and the ones I met. He taught us computers from transistors to A.I. (back when you didn't see AI written on refrigerators and washing machines.) ↩
